Founded in 1905, the University of Sheffield has become one of the UK?s leading universities with a global reputation for teaching and research. As part of the Russell Group, we are a premier-league, research-led institution with over 25,000 students including more than 6,000 international students from 116 countries and over 7,000 members of staff. The University was voted number one in the UK for student experience in the 2014-15 Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey.
