Yokohama National University (YNU) was established in 1949. Today, YNU comprises four Undergraduate Colleges (Education and Human Sciences, Economics, Business Administration, and Engineering Science) and five Graduate Schools (Education, Social Sciences, Engineering, Environment and Information Sciences, and Urban Innovation). It has developed into a university with more than 1,000 faculty and administrative staff and 10,000 students. YNU is located in the historically international City of Yokohama, where is Japan’s second largest city and located less than half an hour south of Tokyo by train. YNU has been highly dedicated to a global perspective and has concluded International Exchange Agreements with 130 universities in 38 countries and region. 934 international students from 65 countries and region are currently enrolled at YNU.
