Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is one of the premier institutions of India founded in 1984. VIT has grown from a modest student strength of 180 in 1984 to 34000 students now in 2020, having representations from 29 states and 7 union territories of India, and 55 countries across the world. Having fully committed to its Vision – “Transforming life through excellence in education and research”, VIT is focussing on quality teaching-learning process, research and innovation, which would make the institute distinct from others.
