Cornell and Harvard University, two of the most prestigious Ivy Leagues in the country are leading institutions when it comes to bringing in students from around the nation.

Building a diverse student body is one of the most dominant missions for higher education institutions, and Ivy Leagues are no exception. Only 16% of Harvard’s class of 2026 consists of international students, according to the school’s admissions statistics.

“To realize the community’s full promise, and to foster the personal intellectual transformation at the heart of our mission, we must also work affirmatively and collectively to advance a culture of belonging,” said former Harvard President Drew Faust.

In terms of admissions, which universities are among the most attended in each state? The data, provided by Scholaroo, an organization that aims to help students in seeking scholarships, is rather intriguing. For example, Cornell is the most attended Ivy League in 18 different states, such as Arizona, California, Colorado, etc. In comparison, Harvard is the second-leading university being the most popular in 12 states.
