Why do Indian students favour Canada as a place for their studies?

In fact, during the past few years, there has been a steady increase in the number of Indian students studying abroad. According to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), 2,61,406 Indian students travelled overseas in 2020, and 71,769 did so in 2021.
Although they frequently go to different locations throughout the globe for their studies, students have been increasingly choosing Canada as a study destination in recent years. What are the main characteristics in a situation like this that make Canada one of the top study locations internationally?
